The 3rd MURI MIR meeting will take place in Arlington, VA. The MURI MIR is a joint collaboration between the US and UK scientist. More info http://muri-mir.osu.edu/2018-muri-mid-infrared-meeting
OSU to host joint attosecond MURI meeting on November 16-17, 2017. Visit http://muri-mir.osu.edu/joint-attosecond-muri-meeting for details.
The talk will discuss "Few-Cycle Pulse Generation and High Harmonic Spectroscopy with Intense 1.8 Micron Ultrashort Pulses"
Organic cavity polaritons have displayed large vacuum Rabi splittings. This ultrastrongly coupled polaritonic matter is a new regime for nonlinear optical effects.
Former group post-doc will present laser technology being developed by Amplitude for the ELI-ALPS facility.
Prof. Chris Monroe (University of Maryland) will presented his ground breaking work on Quantum Information with trapped ions. The title of his talk is "Quantum Networks of Photons and Atoms".
Prof. Lucchese from Texas A&M will present a seminar entitled "Photoionization in the molecular frame".
